In 2005, total visitorship of NHB museums exceeded 820,000 – the highest
in the Board’s 12 year history.
More than 620,000 Singaporeans and overseas visitors participated
with gusto in the inaugural Singapore HeritageFest – a 10-day cultural
extravaganza
Unique visitors to our website
have grown from 10,000 page views per month in 1996, to now an average
of more than 200,000 page views each month. This represents more than
2.5 million hits a month on the average.
Each year, more than 150,000 school children visit the museums as
part of their national education curriculum; More than three-quarters
of schools in Singapore are institutional members of NHB
