Singapore Philatelic Museum

This gem of a museum is the first of its kind in the region. Its fascinating array of 11,000 philatelic artefacts traces Singapore’s history and provides a window to the world. View letters, stamps and philatelic materials from as early as the 1880s to modern Singapore.

Changing exhibitions on interesting themes featuring Singapore and
international stamps, are held throughout                                                    the year.

Highlights

  • Post letters the novel way - the museum's landmark is a red pillar posting box, which was used in Singapore during colonial days.
  • Discover collections of rare pre-stamp covers, Singapore's early stamps with B172 cancellation, bisected stamps and stamp archival materials such as artworks and proofs.
